Meet the Team
Dr Simone Licciardi
B.H.Sc, B.App.Sc (Osteopathy), Currently Studying - International Diploma in Animal Osteopathy
Simone graduated from RMIT University in 2016 and founded West Osteopathy in December 2021. She is devoted to identifying and addressing the root causes of pain, rather than merely treating the symptoms. Her approach to treatment is highly personalised, utilising a biomechanic methodology that includes stretching, electrotherapy, dry needling, cupping, shockwave therapy and techniques for joint mobilisation and manipulation.
She has a special interest in treating TMJ pain, headaches, and musculoskeletal issues in children. Simone has a rich history of working with elite athletes and teams, such as Melbourne City Football Club, Essendon Football Club, and several National Basketball League teams during the 2020 NBL Cup.
Currently, Simone is furthering her education by pursuing an International Diploma in Animal Osteopathy. Outside of her professional commitments, Simone enjoys spending her free time in the gym, playing guitar, scuba diving in Port Phillip Bay, training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and watching The Office on repeat.
Dr Jack Gatt
B.Sc, M.H.Sc (Osteopathy)
Jack graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Biomedical and Exercise Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). He has a strong passion for helping people move with confidence and return to the activities that matter most to them.
His treatment style is holistic, combining hands-on manual therapy with exercise rehabilitation to achieve long-term results. Jack incorporates techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, and cupping, while also tailoring active rehabilitation programs to suit each individual’s goals.
Beyond osteopathy, Jack enjoys playing football and basketball, going to the gym, running, and spending time outdoors. When he’s not working with patients, he loves exploring new places, catching up with friends and family, and discovering local food spots.
Nicole Vu
Diploma of Remedial Massage
Nicole is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with a strong passion for helping people move better, feel better, and live pain-free. She holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage, a Dry Needling Certification, and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from RMIT University.
With experience treating a wide range of clients — including athletes from the Essendon AFLW team and individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis through her work at MS Plus — Nicole brings both clinical knowledge and compassionate care to every treatment.
She has a particular interest in:
Injury prevention and rehabilitation
Relaxation massage for stress relief
Tension headaches, neck pain, and postural concerns

Outside the clinic, Nicole is just as passionate about movement. She’s a competitive powerlifter at the national level, loves soaking up the sun on long walks, and finds calm in crocheting and rewatching The Simpsons (yes, she knows all the episodes by heart).
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or just need a moment to relax — Nicole is here to help you feel your best.

Murphy
Clinic Manager/Chief Happiness Officer
Meet Murphy, our four-legged clinic maestro and the fluffiest member of our team! He’s a Toy Cavoodle with a hypoallergenic coat as soft as clouds, and at 3 years old, he’s now a seasoned professional in tail-wagging therapy.
Murphy takes his role as Chief Happiness Officer very seriously, greeting every patient with a wagging tail and a smile that says, "Welcome, human. I’ve been expecting you." Now working full-time, he's the heartbeat of the clinic—boosting moods, calming nerves, and occasionally stealing the spotlight.
But don’t let his adorable looks fool you. Behind those puppy-dog eyes is a cunning negotiator who’s mastered the art of scoring attention and initiating spontaneous games of fetch in the hallway. He reigns as the unchallenged king of charisma—and he knows it.
Outside the clinic, Murphy is a beach bum at heart. He lives for sandy paws, salty air, and wild frisbee chases. Whether he’s splashing in the waves or snoozing in the sun, he makes the most of every moment off-duty.
Murphy isn’t just a clinic pup—he’s a vital part of our team and a big reason our space feels warm and welcoming. We’re beyond lucky to have him, and we know you’ll love him just as much as we do.
Welcome to Murphy’s world—where every day is a tail-wagging adventure!
