Come build something real with us.
We're looking for another osteopath to join West Osteopathy. Someone who wants a caseload they actually care about, a team that has their back, and room to grow into the kind of practitioner they set out to be.
Most job ads describe the role. We'd rather show you the actual experience.
Anyone can write "supportive team environment" in a job ad. We'd rather tell you what your first year here genuinely looks like, so there are no surprises on either side.
You get a proper welcome, not a folder and a room number.
You'll spend real time with Simone before you see your first patient here. Our approach, our neurodivergent-affirming way of working, how we use Nookal, what "10% hands-on, 90% understanding" actually means in the room. You'll walk in on day two already knowing how we work.
You're calibrated, not left to guess.
Regular check-ins with Simone and Jack while you find your feet with our patients, our systems, and our style of care. And this doesn't stop once you've settled in. We keep checking in as a team on tricky cases for good, because we'd rather have multiple brains on something early than one practitioner stuck on it alone.
Your caseload becomes genuinely yours.
As trust builds, so does your autonomy. You'll be building relationships with your own patients, in 30 minute appointments that are built for depth, not for churning through a waiting room. You'll also start sitting in on our regular case study breakdowns with the team, where we pick apart real cases together instead of everyone working it out solo.
You shape how we treat, not just deliver it.
Established osteos bring their own clinical style and help sharpen ours. New grads get mentored properly instead of thrown in the deep end. Either way, you're contributing to a practice that's still actively being built, not maintaining someone else's finished product.
Open roles right now.
Osteopath
Hoppers Crossing, VIC · Flexible days & hours · Any experience level
What the role looks like
- Based at Suite 13, 57 Forsyth Road, Hoppers Crossing
- Flexible days and hours, worked out to suit both sides
- Saturdays on rotation, every second week
- Rostered so you get a couple of weekdays properly off. We want you to have a life outside the clinic, not just outside the weekend
- Virtual reception handles your calls and bookings, so you're not running the front desk between patients
- 30 minute appointments, built for depth over volume
- Bookings managed through Nookal
- Working alongside Dr Simone Licciardi, Dr Jack Gatt, and Ray Gatt (remedial massage), plus Murphy the cavoodle, our Chief Happiness Officer
Who we're looking for
- AHPRA registered osteopath
- Any level of experience. New grads are properly mentored, experienced osteos are given real autonomy
- Dry needling skills preferred, though not essential
- Genuinely comfortable adapting your approach to neurodivergent patients, or keen to learn how
- Wants to be genuinely part of the team, not just book in and out for shifts
How we actually work together
We're genuinely collaborative here, not collaborative in the way that just means a group chat exists. If a patient needs something outside your particular strength or niche, you hand them to the practitioner who's the better fit for that case. No ego about it, and no patient stuck with the wrong practitioner because it's administratively easier.
We check in with each other regularly, not just when something's gone wrong. We'd rather have multiple brains on a tricky case early than one practitioner quietly stuck on it for weeks. It's a genuine value here, not a policy on paper, because it's what actually gets our patients the best outcome.
That same mindset carries into how we sit down as a team to break down real case studies together. What worked, what didn't, what we'd try differently. It's how we keep sharpening our clinical reasoning as a group instead of everyone quietly figuring things out alone in their own room.
If there's an area that genuinely lights you up, whether that's sport, paediatrics, chronic pain, or something else entirely, we want to help you grow into it. We do CPD together as a team, and we're always looking at what we could be doing better for our patients, not just repeating what we've always done because it's familiar.
Tell us why this fits.
Send through your resume and a cover letter telling us why West Osteopathy feels like the right clinic for you. We read every application ourselves, no automated filtering.
